How would you relate John Lennon's dream for humankind to Aristotle's happiness?
John Lennon's dream of world peace is somewhat explained by Aristotles happiness. Aristotle explains that theorists generally focus on what makes people happy. He believes that being virtuous is the only true way to happiness. The mistake of thinking that wealth is happiness in itself is misleading according to Aristotle since what really makes you happy are that things money can buy. He said, living with ethics and virtue will lead most people to happiness and that is everyone's goal "to be happy". Aristotle believes that nothing comes after happiness.
John Lennon and Aristotle are after the same thing, peace and happiness complement each other, and any good person I would think will agree with that.
